The Cottonwood Apartments are located at 510 E. Beltline Road on the south side of Beltline Road in Desoto, Texas near Polk Street and Hampton Road. The area is approximately eighty percent built-out, consisting primarily of single-family homes. There is a significant amount of undeveloped land mixed with smaller commercial developments, institutional buildings, small retail buildings, and limited multifamily development. There are two large newer apartment communities in the surrounding area.
Beltline Road is a major four-lane thoroughfare that allows quick access to IH-35W to the east and Hampton Road to the west. The City of Desoto is approximately twenty miles south of downtown Dallas.
